A great client of Hire Resolve in Bahrain is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Manama.
The successful candidate will work in a well-established, reputable environment where they will be expected to bring their experience and expertise to the team. Upon joining, they will be entrusted with responsibilities such as leading small to medium-sized projects, preparing technical reports, and liaising with clients and other engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Leading small to medium-sized projects, including providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Preparing technical reports, such as project progress reports, and presenting findings to clients
- Liaising with clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful collaboration and optimal project outcomes
- Conducting site visits and providing technical support during construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases of a project
- Ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Contributing to developing framework agreements and preparing tender documents
- Actively networking with clients and industry professionals to continually develop relationships and generate new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience within the design industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or eligibility to acquire one
- Excellent knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Demonstrated experience in designing structural systems, such as reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required for work-related activities
