Cybersecurity Client-Facing Virtual Assistant (VA)

WeAreGrowth is looking for a Client-Facing Virtual Assistant who has a basic understanding of Cybersecurity and can communicate professionally with clients.

This is not a basic data-entry VA role. You will communicate with cybersecurity clients, understand their requirements and problems, collect the necessary information, and coordinate with our cybersecurity specialists to make sure the work is completed correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients through Email, WhatsApp, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Understand the client's business, security concerns, and requirements.
• Ask the right questions to understand the cybersecurity task.
• Collect necessary information from clients and organize requirements clearly.
• Explain client requirements to our cybersecurity specialists/team.
• Coordinate tasks between clients and cybersecurity specialists.
• Follow up with the technical team and keep clients updated.
• Handle client questions professionally.
• Help with client onboarding, reports, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Identify unclear requirements or problems and communicate them to the appropriate team member.

Basic Cybersecurity Knowledge Required, such as:

• Website security and vulnerabilities.
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Web application security.
• Network security.
• APIs and basic API security.
• Common vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication issues.
• Basic understanding of security reports and remediation.
• Difference between vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessment.

You do not need to be an expert penetration tester. However, you must understand cybersecurity terminology well enough to communicate with clients and understand what they are asking for.

Requirements

• Good English communication skills.
• Professional and confident client communication.
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge or cybersecurity learning/certification.
• Ability to understand client problems and requirements.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Fast learner and proactive attitude.
• Experience with a cybersecurity company, IT company, digital agency, or similar role is a plus.
