Job Description
Would you like to be part of a team focused on improving education service and delivery by increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services in the MENA region? Do you have the business savvy, industry knowledge, and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon and its partners as a key technology platform provider in this space?
Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS business in education across the region. The ideal candidate will possess the business, industry, and technical background that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. She or he should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.
Role & Responsibilities
· Promote AWS services in the education sector
· Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
· Facilitate customer adoption
· Maintain a robust projects pipeline
· Work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption
· Contribute to positive customer experience
Job Specification
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Significant account management experience in the education IT industry
· BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
· Direct field experience in working with regional accounts in education
· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
· Fluent in writing and speaking English and Arabic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA qualification
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
· SaaS/Cloud experience
