The Team

Pyypl is a project-driven organization. With us everything is either a project or a process. In this role, you will be working directly with the Chief Market-Expansion Officer (CMEO) and you will be part of the Market Expansion Project team.


What you will be doing:

Pyypl is experiencing massive growth and is now looking for a Project manager for leading our New Market-Expansion projects. You will play a key role in developing, managing and delivering the strategic expansion projects and you will have the opportunity to be part of a team that drives the development of the whole organization but also the digital transformation of the wider MENA region.

You will spend most of your time working on developing, modifying and managing market-expansion project plans. Your workday and tasks will be varied, but amongst other includes:

  • Drive, manage and implement cross- functional, multi-dimensional projects with wider impact to the organization, ensuring successful execution
  • Ensure New Market Expansion projects are properly defined and scoped within the project framework, while managing the rollout implementation, assuring proper set-up of processes and SOPs
  • Analyze, report and document project performance development, best practices and analysis among respective functions. Support the development of concept/methodology for future rollout and sustainable impact
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, setting the tone and pace of the project. Provide proactive and effective stakeholder management, coordination, training and organisational engagement; Firmly ensure that all internal functions are aligned with the project scope, budget and deliverables
  • Define, manage and deliver quality and agility in the project planning approach to ensure the business can remain highly responsive to market demand and can bring services to market within the project scope
  • Structure and develop high quality reports encompassing the relevant analysis, findings and recommendations. Develop and maintain analytical frameworks in order to evaluate and support decision making, in order to apply agile modifications on project plans based on business requirements in new markets
  • Build and maintain effective reporting solutions for executive-level presentations, including Project Steering Committee and Senior Management meetings

Requirements

What we need you to have to succeed in the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier University with outstanding academic record. Engineering background is preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in project management within a consultancy firm, professional services, or financial services, being directly involved with global expansion strategies is preferred
  • Project Management Professional with an industry recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2 or PMP or Agile etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, MS Office applications, project management processes, tools, and applications. Experience building and managing projects in Asana or Monday.com is highly preferred
  • Excellent collaboration skills and comfortable with an agile and iterative development process that includes accepting and managing feedback from various stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with both team members and internal business functions and comfortable mediating between stakeholder needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • A high level of knowledge in business strategy, market entry strategy, finance, commercial operations, and data analysis techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multinational environment, with teams at all levels
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently
  • Openness to travel at least 10% of the time
  • This role will be based in Pyypl headquarters in Dubai, UAE, or in Bahrain
